IFIF Public Relations- Deputy Head of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of East Azarbaijan for commercial affairs and trade development Gholamali Rasti said that 150 million dollars worth of chocolate are exported to 60 countries around the world annually from the province.'

He said that total figure for export of chocolate abroad is 500 million dollars annually of which 150 million dollars belongs to province.

Rasti said that currently 76 production units are active in this sector in the province, providing job opportunities for 20,000 people. Production capacity of chocolates and sweets in East Azarbaijan province stands at 300,000 tons annually, he added./s
